Sharjah International Airport Seizes 64 Violators

SHARJAH -Passport section at the Sharjah International Airport, seized 64 people, of whom 48 are Pakistanis, 10 Afghans and four Indians, while attempting to enter into the country with tourist visas.

Colonel Dr Abdullah Ali Saeed bin Sahoo, Director of the Naturalisation and Residency Department in Sharjah, said "some tourist firms in the country do not abide by the instructions issued on the tourist visas that should be issued only for tourism purposes and not for work.

He added that job seekers should enter into the country with the mission visas issued by labour offices. Sahoo praised passport staff at the Sharjah Airport, urging the tourist firms to review and verify issuance of visas to ensure they go to right tourists.
