Careers UAE kicks off in March

Dubai: Careers UAE 2009, the recruitment, training and education event for UAE Nationals, will be held from March 29 to 31 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Held under the Patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the event will bring together the nation's top recruiters and thousands of job seekers under one roof and is set to play a key role in the government's efforts to increase the number of UAE nationals working in the private sector.

"As companies resize and reposition their HR strategies, Careers UAE becomes more relevant than ever to ensure the Emiratisation programme remains a priority for companies in both the private and public sectors," said Mr Helal Saeed Al Merri, the CEO of Dubai World Trade Centre, the show's organiser. "This year, the event provides UAE nationals the valued opportunity to improve their understanding of the changing trends and developments in the employment and training market here."
